It's quite honestly unbelievable that it seems this game uses client-side checks for things like movement speed and ability cooldowns. Speed hacking should be easily detectable and should warrant an immediate server disconnect if there were any validation checks in place. The bigger question, of course, is why there are still cheaters around in the first place. It also delays consolidators' turn-ins if you kill the NPCs immediately after Grindtooth, thus wasting the multiboxers' time. Incidentally, we have found that killing the Cerulean prestige turn-in NPC periodically (after a Sacred Beast wave is a good time) acts to temporarily turn hackers away since they can't redeem stolen points for about 10 minutes.

At times the prestige gains are so low due to all these unnecessary toons on the map that people in my guild have found more entertainment in trying to find and kill the operators' Cerulean Order toons that they use to consolidate prestige (If you know where they hide it, you can deny them upwards of 1,000 PP). We have at least 4-5 known toons on red side that can be seen controlling numerous Summoners in perfect synchronization from basically 6pm PST on into the early hours of the morning. Botters and mulitboxers (presumably gold sellers) do little more than water down legitimate players' prestige gains while they are rewarded for contributing only their miserable Profane/Siren level DPS. I play on Hajoon/Crimson Legion and the prevalence of botters/boxers and uptime of speed hackers is so bad it's almost impossible to get even 100 points at any given time in a game of SSP. All lvl 49, pretty much the same gear and all in the top 50. Are you kidding me Hajoon sever has all the summoner hackers in arena.
